The whole essence of hypnobirthing is to bring you into a hypnotic state of mind through breathing techniques and visualisations.

By bringing your mind to feed your body through breathing and visualising, there are many benefits for you and your baby.
Such as;

- It can help your nervous system to stay calmer
- Its a coping tool for labor pains
- It can bring more positive feelings and attitudes towards your birthing experience. When you listen to your body. It inadvertently feeds back, “I am heard” message. This is very similar and in alignment with labor affirmations, and labor meditations throughout pregnancy and internalised before, ready for birthing.
- Woman are magical and need to feel this for labor. Hynobirthing empowers you to feel your inner magic and trust your body.
- By practicing hypnotic states in pregnancy and as a mum, it can be seen and felt like a domino effect, as it can then, be more likely nurtured and internalised by your baby. I am not qualified in hypnobirthing and neither do I pretend to be. But what I find really interesting is it’s very similar to yoga, in that bowing your head to your heart enlightens a connection within.
