A big hello guys and welcome to my first blog post.
My names Danielle and i’m super excited about sharing tools and tips, as a mum to support other mums, find time exercising with their babies.
My son Seb, has just started school and it is only really now, i’ve been able to find the time, to work properly again. Over the past five and a half years, i’ve been constantly pigeon holing priorities, juggling round being a single mum, which is a full time job, before they start school.
A little bit of background before the real blogs are revealed.
I was a carer and support worker before I became a mother. I have an honours degree in Sociology and wanted to go on to study a masters, either in occupational therapy, or social work. That was, until I worked alongside these professions and it radically shifted my perspective, of what the actual job entailed.
So instead, I went to India at the beginning of 2014 with no intention of coming home, to travel and write a book, and fell in love. I came back to Scotland with, the best unexpected souvenir.
Now being a single mother, I had to look for other ways to work around motherhood.
I live and love what I do.
Exercise Anytime Anywhere was born, the first half year, of Seb’s life.
My to do list just got bigger, but so was my child, and this small snippet of honoured time, we are able to share this 5 year space with, in being the centre of their ever growing, changing world.
I cherished every chanced moment.
I will never look back over the past five years and wished i’d done anything differently.
All mistakes, are lessons learned.
I retrained as a yoga teacher when Seb was 3 years old, as well as moving homes.
2018 was a full on, game changing year.
People, especially my son, are my best teachers.
Im a lover of the sea and mountains, especially camping and fires, basically anything outdoors with my shoes off in the sunshine and mud, is my happy place.
I love travelling and being a mum, never stopped me, if anything encouraged me more. Seb had been on 26 flights by the time he was 2 years old.
I love spending time with people, who find the lightness and love of and in, life.
I don’t do seriousness very well. Can we have a giggle, whilst we learn.
Laughing daily, usually at myself, is necessary for energy to move, as well as core workout.
Im an avid reader of educational books and believe, learning never stops.
Making the most of each day and being grateful for life, is vital for my self growth.
Being kind and loving towards myself, is crucial for this to flow out, genuinely upon others.
The best present I can give myself, is my belly breathe.
Slow down and remember to breathe into me, for you, my love.
You’ve got this mama.
